Teams are not afraid of change, they are afraid of the silence around it.

Often, it is not the change itself, but the silence around it.
What I see in organisations:
• Leaders overwhelmed by uncertainty
• Teams trying to guess what is coming
• Rumours filling every gap in communication
What happens then:
• Motivation drops because nobody sees the bigger picture
• People feel alone with their questions
• Productivity declines because the direction is unclear
The truth we forget:
You do not need the final answer to create clarity. You only need the courage to articulate what you see, what you feel, and how you plan to navigate the next steps.
When leaders speak early, teams breathe again. When leaders do not, they carry the full weight of uncertainty on their shoulders.
If you think your team “already understands the situation,” they probably do not.Tell them. Again. And again.
What is one thing your team needs to hear from you this week?
